And there will be a small part of me that’s forever sad that Clarke MacArthur met his wife when he played in Buffalo.
I guess I kind of had a bit of a crush on Jason Spezza when he played junior.
But then I realized not only did he kind of look like my friend Dave, but he was also an egotistical ass.
I’m not a bitter, jealous, or slighted ex-girlfriend or anything. I just deviated from that destination pretty damn quickly.
I don’t think I ever had a crush on a hockey player until that turbulent love/hate relationship with Sidney Crosby many years ago.
I mean, I absolutely LOVED Theo Fleury, Felix Potvin, and Paul Kariya growing up.
But I never wanted to marry any of them.
So work did ask me to “help out” on Tuesdays.

I rewatched the Guardians snippet on Youtube last night.
It didn’t make any more sense the second time around.
And with that thought, I leave you all to go to work.
Honestly, me going to the Have a Heart Dinner would probably be a bad idea.
Because the players bring their wives and girlfriends.
So I’d see Dion Phaneuf, and he’d be with Elisha Cuthbert and I’d just suddenly forget about everyone else and be fangirling over Elisha all, “OMG YOU HOSTED PMK AND THAT WAS LIKE MY WHOLE CHILDHOOD I LOVE YOOOOOOOOOU!!!”

If you’re going to change your logo to look like the symbol of the Flash, you should probably use his colour scheme.
Instead of, you know, making your jerseys look like Leafs jerseys.

Yeeeeeeeeeah, no, I can’t afford that much money and can’t raise that much in only a week.
And I’d be terrified to go alone.
Mainly because I’m a terrible skater. I’d just latch on to someone and not let go. Even Lebda. It’d be awful.
Maybe next year.
Well, if you raise enough money you can skate for multiple sessions.
Like each session requires $125. So if I raised $250 for the charity, I could register to skate for two different sessions and skate with two groups of players.
I think I could manage that. But not with only a week to go. :(

You know how when you’re tired, but you know that if you went to bed you’d just end up lying there staring at the ceiling and unable to fall asleep?
That was the most uncomfortable and emotionally draining episode of Criminal Minds I have ever seen.
